I do not know about what you guys think - but this looks like an aged FAKE - the hint would be the lack of the other ID marks on the bottom...

What do you think?

What markings are you refering to. I've never seen any markings on them?

Ok guys - then I have 12 more EXACTLY like it for SALE - I will let you have them for the SMALL PRICE of only $99.00 each - I will even give you FREE SHIPPING...

Now, how do I know it is an aged reproduction?

Looking at my 3 originals that I have just taken off of pumps this last month - they all say "REG US PAT OFF" on the bottom.

The only way this would be original is if Fry made "2" different types of these signs - one with the "REG US PAT OFF" at bottom and one without it. Maybe Dick B. will know for sure?

AND HERE IS THE PATENT the "REG US PAT OFF" is declairing...

...I've seen originals of both types, this one looks right...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...
