New ones identical to that with the access door run $150, so offer accordingly. I'm not Eco expert, but I wouldn't think the original pedestal would be worth a lot more than a new one. I'd start offering a $50 spot and see where that gets you.

We are selling all steel (the same as original) pedestals for $125.00, and you can't tell them from originals so I would not offer him more that that, you will save the shipping.
By the way, if you need a head for the unit, I have over 60 in stock.

One more note, my website, where you can see just about every ECO part available for sale is down. Temporarly please use this to get to it: http://64.226.138.86/MoZeta/

Hey Mick start out low like $25 & slowly work up. I would not give more than $125 like Jack said. The cheaper the better

I thought originals were cast iron, not steel.? That is earlier ones.

I have one that I took right from a station that is aluminum.. as far as I know original.

Had to build him another out of steel and paint it, did a nice job spent a lot of time on it.. 3 months later it was all bulldozed.

Pedestal history:
The first pedestals had a cast iron base and flange, a steel post between.
Around 1970 Bennett began making the pedestals out of aluminum. The only thing metal was the small pipe that held everything together.
Most of the reproductions being sold have aluminum bases and flanges with a steel post.
The ones I sell have cast iron bases and flanges with a steel post. In my other post I referred to all the parts as steel, but I should have said cast iron for some them.
