I'm the seller of this item on which you've recently bid on through the eBay system ) and I've contacted you because I need to know if you are still interested to buy ... Email me as soon as possible with your answer because I must to know if is necesarly to find another buyer or if you can buy the item(i need to know your final price)...If you accept this offer the eBay policy automatically proclaims you winner. The transaction will go strictly according to eBay's RULES and POLICY and will be supervised by eBay Trust & Safety Department. If you are interested just reply to this message...I am waiting a fast response!...Thank you!" ???just dont know what to make of it??spelling is his not mine mick

Hi Mick, it's a scam, ebay would only offer a 2nd chance offer after the auction, never any deal midway thru, I got something similar many months ago, when I replied to his email, I had to fill in my screenname and password, (just like when signing on to ebay), Trouble is I was already signed on and should not have had to again, WELL somebody used my info to list a Hemi Roadrunner and some other expensive items, Ebay caught it before I did and credited my account for the fees, But I had to change all my info, A PAIN IN THE *** IF YOU ASK ME. Mick, did the email come through ebay or through your regular email account? I received one sort of like this, a couple of years ago. The email was from someone who had hi-jacked the sellers info. I contacted the seller and he hadn't emailed me. Both the seller and I contacted ebay about the email and ebay told me that first contact between bidder and seller should be through ebay as the seller doesn't have your email info. Ebay told me later that I wasn't the only bidder to get the email. In my case it was a scammer, might want to contact the seller to see if the email really came from him/her. bob came in my bulk mail,not in ebay messages.that was a red flag for sure.just that since i changed my email some of my normal contacts all of the sudden were coming in bulk instead of inbox.so its been kinda confusing me.seems it take awhile for the puter to decide which is who(example oldgas always came in inbox,since change was in bulk,but has now reverted to inbox again)not a puter expert,but will figure that mess out. db...

Ebay needs to put more effort into this kind of thing, instead of P****** off the regular users [sellers & buyers].
