I saw this too and I am voting phony. Looks way too good and doesn't look to have any shelving. Just does not look right. I also see he has another one listed in his online store. Not sure about that one but looks like that one could be real.

Repo. Examine the lettering, it's not uniform. Compare the E in Guarantee to the others. FRY isn't centered.

Now look at the one in Seths catalog and see what you think.

This looks a lot like the sign & bracket I make....he also has a real porcelain one in his listings that looks different than the one in question. The one I make is steel, powder-coated & silk-screened...I am pretty sure this one is too.

One more thing. It doesn't say "Reg US Pat off" at the bottom. Look at his other items for this one: 7212759088

Yes it does look like the one in Seth's catalog as I have been looking at Fry parts. Seth did you get a chance to look for more parts for me and get some prices.

Repo.

Morgan,
Signs were made with & without "Reg US Pat off".
I have 1 of each.

Thanks Dick. Good to know. I've only seen the repos that didn't have that. And, never seen a repo that did.

...fishy...the very edges of the sign are too clean and well-covered, the porcelain on an original would have gaps where it didn't quite cover...looks too smooth, not enough shelving...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...
