I just bought my first pump, it's a Wayne 70. It has Conoco ad glass in it so I'm going to stick with that but I don't know what the colors are supposed to be. If anyone can help me out with this I'd appreciate it.

Here's a little more info that might help. Right now the pump is all white from a really bad paint job and under that looks to be some green paint. I'm wondering if the Conoco pumps were all one color or were they a two color paint scheme?

WELL, according to the BOOKS. The WAYNE 70 was produced from 1937 thru 1948. CONOCO pumps from 1933 thur 1946 were all white with a 12" RED or GREEN band around the base of pump & globe body to match. From 1946 thru 1955, the pump was all white with a GREEN or BLACK base.
BUT, this is YOUR pump, DO IT ANYWAY YOU LIKE. db

Petroleum Collectibles Monthly sells a great book called Guide to Gas Pump Restoration. Well worth the price.

I`m gonna have to agree with Dick Bennett, one pump is where it STARTS, LOL! We started with one....now we have one in the house, and 5 in the garage.
Too many toys, not enough play-time!

Quick inventory here.... Two pumps in the house, along with two lubesters... One pump at the garage. Two pumps & three lubesters in the yard..... A shop to look like an old station, on the drawing board..... Yup... I sure am glad that I have a big yard....
