This seller is claiming to be selling a Sinclair Aircraft sign (edited). Description makes little to no sense, and size of sign is not stated (though it appears to be 30"). Seller also claims it is neon, but it clearly has no punched holes.

I guess I don't see how anyone can expect bids of that caliber with such a sparse, nonsensical, and rude description. (edited) Any thoughts?
Wes

Thats Franklin, out of KY. A legitimate seller in the hobby, no question.
The sign is 42" I'm sure. Bettin has the only 30" version found I think.

Wes This is the real deal. I know Franklin & have bought off of him in the past. He has also set up at Peotone in the past. This is his Ebay name & he always has very nice top quality stuff. No spoof or fraud here. Maybe the neon went around the outside edge. I have one in 6 foot that had neon tube holders around the outside of it. Hope this helps

I HAVE TO AGREE ON THE SOMEWHAT GENERIC DESCRIPTION. AND FROM THE PIC OF IT ON THE WALL I'D SAY IT WAS A 42"ER MYSELF! I THINK HE'S ASSUMING THE SIGN SPEAKS FOR ITSELF...TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT! OH, YEAH...ABOUT THE "NEON" PART....I THINK IT'S JUST ONE OF THOSE KEY WORDS THAT BRING YOU TO THE SIGN EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOT. ~DOC [This message has been edited by THE AMERICAN GARAGE (edited 03-23-2008).]

I stand corrected. I guess I'm just a little gun-shy after seeing so many fraudulent auctions lately.

I would bet it is a 48 inch, not 42.
Nice sign

Hey Wes, I'm sure you're right...48" is the correct size.

Sorry guys for the lack of description but I took very deatiled pictures. I guess when I listed it I had to many brew's I'll be glad to add whatever you guys think to the description. It is 48" and has no neon just a search word to bring more buyers to the auction I guess should remove the neon from the title. Please don't hesitate to call 1-270-519-3482 or advise what you think the description needs thanks to all the great people here. Franklin
