Generally speaking - if there are/were studs on the back, it's original.

I don't know of anyone that rebop'd these with studs.

Pergle used to carry the 'Diamond & Arrow' SUNOCO signs, but I'm not sure if they still do or not. And they did not rebop the 'X' version as I recall.
