I am looking at a Husky Globe on ebay item #160036269686. Is it a good deal for a repro? Thanks, Mike

Mike: We sell ours at $99.00 (+ Shipping) for a complete Capco body and a pair of 'double-strength' glass lenses. And that includes your choice of any color Capco body that's available. The 'dated' repro's that are out there are only single strength glass and (IMO) the colors are not as intense as what we use. Check out the images on our site for comparision. Later . . . Thanks for the info. Love the site T-way. Deeper color in just the pictures alone. My financial advisor has me on a tight budget. I can't complain she has kept us out of debt for 21 years so far. Mike

T-way...how ARE your globes marked to differentiate between them and original globes?...just asking, as it sounds as if yours aren't dated...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Gulfiend!
You are correct. Ours are not 'dated' per say - but marked with the year and (for the ones currently in stock) POGOGAS.COM.
As I need to replenish the stock, the newly manufactured lenses will carry the current year and 'T-WAY'S' to indicate that they are not originals.
ALL our lenses are dated one way or another. Even 'custom run' lenses that the customer does NOT want dated have a date screened and fired into the paint - you just cant' see it from the outside, you need to turn the lens around to see it from the backside.
I won't produce any lenses without a date. to do so would be irresponsible.
Thanks for asking though!
Jim

...I figured you wouldn't repop something without a date, thanks for clarifying how you mark them...and thanks for marking them!
