I found this on German Ebay. Face plate looks like it measures in French Francs?? Has anyone seen one of these? http://cgi.ebay.de/alte-Tanksaeule-Dekor...1QQcmdZViewItem
Tell us about this one, Andy, DB or anybody.

Might want to ask the new German guy. Name is German Rookie, or something like that. He has some recent posts so you will be able to find him easily.

Now that is cool. Just different enough from what we know as a Wayne 60. I like the side panels. A little more art deco.
Wonder what shipping would be?.....Yea right
Thanks for the link Rod!

Hi Rod..

Thanx for your info...

yes guys ...seems like it is from france....
But for me too far away to pick up ( 800 km )
But Rod :
I made my first local ad yesterday in our Newspaper "seeking for old gas station" and receive directly an offer of a 1965 GILBARCO SChWELM from a first owner.....
Should be a very rare "double" one with everything double on it for two kinds of fuel to pump up....
it is dicribed as fully complete but overpainted....
Guess this could be a bargain...
and it is only 50 KM away ( Pirmasens -you evtl. remember Rod......)
