Reproduction or Original? I have a 3 piece Mobilgas Globe - red metal ring and two white glass plates with red pegasus and Mobilgas in blue letters. The ring is 15 1/2" in diameter and the plates are 13 1/2" in diameter. The message in small letters "Licensed by Mobil Oil Corporation L2" is at the bottom of each plate. Is there a way to validate whether this is an original or not.

Also, how do you attach pictures to these messages?

Thanks for you help

It's a repro. "Licensed by Mobil" was not used on original vintage items.
