I had this 1976 Dart Sport for 16 years. It started out a a 318 car and I swapped a built 340, 727, 8.75 rear, rebiult it front to back and up and down. Sold it in '97. It's still around, haven't seen it for about 2 years, engine is changed again apparently, needs paint, etc. They don't seem to get looked after as well as the one who built them. I will have to scan some old pics of my other former rides. Kinda sucks though as I don't have anything right now.

I bought this new in 1978. Was my daily driver for many years. In 1990 it was refurbished. New paint (never did get pinstrips back on) engine rebuild and side pipes and headers to replace smog equipment.
About 3 years latter New Mexico (where I lived at the time) started smog testing. Needless to say it would not pass without smog stuff so it was no longer used. Missouri (where I have lived the last 12 years) does not have any smog requirments so
someday it will get back on the road. Needs transmission and brake work. I drive it around the block every few months.

Hey Ken, located about 30 miles NW of Calgary. Your gas pumps look great, hope you get that Clear Vision.
Thanks for the kind words Doug, still picking up the Texaco stuff.
Forgot to mention I had the Camaro at the local Drag Strip she ran 13.90 @102 MPH. The race track is 3800 feet above sea level.

Hey Joe. Is that anywhere around Crossfield or Madison, or are you west of that yet? Just wonderin' as I have relatives in that area. Seems like everyone in Saskatchewan has relatives in Alberta. I'm originally from Kyle, Sask., just north of Swift Current.

Madden. That's the town I'm thinkin' of, then you must know my cousins Dave and Barb Swanson, he's a real estate agent around there. Good people. They have an acreage between Madden and Crossfield. Been many years since I've been there. Beautiful country.

Most of you have seen Fast66 sometime before. Anyway... 1966 2+2 sold new in Sweden, 289 4V, 4speed, console, Rally Pac, Disc brakes.
Had this car since -88 and restored it in -90. Had a similar Fastback from -82 to -88.

I also have a 1964 Fairlane 500. 260 3 speed on the tree...will restore any year... had it since 1979.

Her's the Fairlane in the background. This picture is from April 1980, yea I'm the guy to the right.

Great to see all these nice cars!
Claes

Here's my 66 Mustang. Its only a 6cyl, 3spd auto. Pretty basic car, but I did a lot of the mechancical work myself and I enjoy driving it. Not a show car, but it looks very nice. Just wish it had some AC to go with that black vinyl interior!

It a 1950 Dodge B-2G, 14,500 GVW, Chrysler big block "Spitfire" inline 6, Holley 500 cfm 2bbl carb, 2 speed rear axle, with a dump bed. And I'm not even a "Dodge Guy"

Well.... It's not as nice as anything that I've seen here, but it runs.... It doesn't stop, but it runs.....

I recently found out that one of our Shop Talk members used to drive stock cars. I was poking around on the Kamp Motor Speedway web site and saw the tech inspector's email address and recognized it as Truckarm here on this site.
I asked Gayle Kamp if she had any pictures of Ron's race cars and she sent these for me to post.
Here's one on pavement from 2001.

This one is from 1976.

I'm not sure of the date on this one but its later than you would think. A couple of the tracks in Indiana ran coupes up through the early 1970's.

Thanks to Gayle Kamp and Kamp Motor Speedway near Boswell, IN. for the pictures. If you're ever in the area on a Saturday night check out the racing action. Kamp Speedway is the most professionally run track in the region.

Wanted: Gas pump globes:Sinclair & affiliates, IL companies. Ripple bodies. Anything Sinclair, Stoll, Pierce, 4 Bros.

Here is a picture of my old car. 1963, 327, 4 speed. I got it from my dad in 1986. It has the original 250 HP engine, original wheels, hub caps and removeable hard top. I took it to LAs Vegas in 86 when the Air Force moved me there, then to Tampa, North Carolina and now out to MO.

WOW!! What great cars you guys have had/have. It makes me want to go out and get something to play with.

Here are the only instamatic photos I have from 30+ years ago. My first wife and I had a pair of Camaros. Her's a 1972 and mine was the '70 Z-28. Both sported the 350 ci engines but the Z had the LT1 solid lifter. I had to dump the Z when gas hit 50 cents per gallon!

I posted a picture of my current old car on page 3. Here are a couple pictures of cars I had back in the day.
First is a 1969 RS/ SS Camaro, 396, 375 horse 4 speed. I was told when I bought it in 1978 that it had a cam from an L88 in it. Either way, it had plenty of power. I could not get insurance for it as I was 17 at the time so I sold it. I paid $2300 for it, think I got $2500 out of it a couple months later.

Next is a 1978 Trans Am, nice car. I drove it up untill about the time I joined the AF.

Next is a 1967 Camaro SS 350 4 speed. First year for the Camaro, first year for the 350 engine. It is no longer mine but it is still in the family.

I also had a 1970's Nova that was built. Will have to try and find a picture of it. And yes, I wish I still had the '69.
