I'm getting closer to finishing my Wayne 60 and I'm looking for a pump nozzle to use. I found a Tokheim 1063 nozzle in mint condition. From photos I've seen, this nozzle closely resembles the original nozzle that would have been used on the Wayne 60. This nozzle has a 3/4" thread and I believe my pump has a 1" opening on the manifold. I'm sure I can use a reducer so that I can use a 1" hose, but would this nozzle look correct on this pump?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
Mac

If you are happy with it... use it! We sometimes lose sight of the fact that pumps were just pieces of equipment used to make money for the station owner. If a nozzle was malfunctioning the repair guy would stick on whatever he had on the truck. An Erie could have a Gibarco nozzle and vice-versa. The goal was to keep things working using whatever was available. No one worried about the numbers matching.

Your friends probly won't notice, but when another collector visits, I would hide the nozzle !
A WAYNE, Morrision or Buckeye would look much better.

Dick,

I totally agree, but haven't been able to locate one. I've only seen one Wayne embossed nozzle and missed out on that one. I've been watching Ebay and hoping my Want Ad in the Oldgas classifieds would find me the nozzle I want, but no luck so far. The Tokheim nozzle is the closest I've seen to what is considered original equipment, but still would prefer to find one embossed "Wayne".

I've got a "Buckeye". If you want it, drop me an "e"
