Welcome to the madness.

your pump is a Model 766 Bennett. Originally produced in 1948 - 1951 (according to the Gas Pump Bible) and sold for $377.50 (New).

Current value is somewhere between $300 - $450 depending on who wants it.

This particular pump came in various configurations: covered nozzle, uncovered nozzle ad glass or no ad glass & twins with and without ad glass.

These make great little pumps for someone with limited ceiling height (i.e. a basement setting).

Post some shots when you start working on it.

Later . . .

Jim

Shane,
WECOME TO THE MADNESS.
You have caught the PETRO BUG ! There is no known cure. All you can do now is GO BUY ANOTHER & ANOTHER & ANOTHER .......

Most of us have had doubts about some of the pumps we buy, BUT when they are RESTORED, all doubts have gone out the window. THEN WE GO BUY ANOTHER ONE !

kikgas, I have restored 6 pumps so far, one of them was identical to yours except for how the hose fed out. Mine was a model 756, it was my favorite pump thus far. Many parts are available for these model 700's, if I were you I'd DEFINITELY restore it!!
