Hey gang, I am starting on restoring my first pump. It is a M/S 80 and I want to restore it in Standard Oil Colors similar to the picture. Does anyone know where I can find the decal band that goes beneath the glass on this pump? This picture says "American Regular". Mine doesn't have to say that exactly if there are others out there. I am going to do it with a Red Crown. Any help is appreciated!

While I'm at it, is this an "original" design? Did Standard Oil have pumps that looked like this? I want to try and make mine as original as possible.

Thanks, please let me know what is available!

Ryan

According to the book "Guide to Gas Pump Restoration" by Henderson & Benjamin; the image you posted is correct for a "American Regular Gasoline 1961-1971". If someone is reproducing this one please let me know too.

One similar that to this is the earlier "Red Crown King Size Regular 1956-1961" decal which you should be able to buy from different vendors.

I bought mine from Gas Pump Heaven I believe with no delivery issues. I would make sure whoever you buy from has it IN STOCK before placing your order so you are not held up due to color matching/etc...2 weeks sometimes means 2 to 12 months to some people.

email & info/pic sent also
