Was wondering what door or window rubber to use on an Erie 81. Has anyone found the correct rubber to use? The Erie 70,71,80,81,90,91 should be the same. Can't seem to find the rubber that looks like the stuff that is on it. Thanks for any help. Kent.

The best I can remember is that it does not use rubber. They all go together and bolt to the front of the meter. If I can find some pics I will post them for you.

Thanks, Phil

Kent:

The window rubber you are looking for is just there to help prevent water intrusion into the pump during rain.

If your are going to put your pump inside - it doesn't need it.

But . . . any rubber that will grab onto the door and sit against the porcelain will work.

You can order a foot of each style from one of the restoration houses and see what works.

Later . . .

Jim
