Have run across a porcelain pegasus, single-sided, red with white outline, back of sign is black, and facing left. Approx 32" nose to tip of rear leg. Belly is marked "T-53" in white letters. Anyone know if this is the real thing? No pic at this time, but can email later. Thanks, Dave

Sounds like the real thing to Me. You will probaly get a few offers for it A picture would be nice.I had a 9' cookie cutter.but it was to big ! a small one like you have to me is a better sign. Good luck with whatever you want to do with it.

i would be careful, the back, the mounting brackets & the shelving of the porcelain will be important, but pictures of all these places would really help.......

Looked at this sign again and there are no mounting brackets or holes with grommets to mount the sign. Have received other info outside Oldgas from knowledgable people that says the T-53 signs are a repro, possibly from the guy "south of the border"?? Dave

I know nothing of these signs. Looking at the photos I'm just wondering how it was hung? With no mounting holes or brackets, did it float in mid air? Lean against something? Did it have a frame? If these type of signs were made without mounting "points", what were they used for?

It's a sad situation if these signs are fake because looking at this sellers feedback they have sold some of these exact signs in the past auctions. 1 for $970.00 and the other for $765.00.
