I am interested in learning about the Rocket Gasoline Co. Can any one provide info on this co. or photos of globes, decals, cans etc. Where did this co. originate from?

Thanks in advance,
Rob

Here is a little info on Rocket of Wisconsin. Click that link.
Click "Search" above. Then click on "Advanced Search" In the search form select a forum to search in, like General Discussion or Showcase. Search for the word Rocket. In the time settings, choose, "Older than one month" and erase the "newer than" number and select a blank space in the other time field. That search will come up with more.

Hey Rob I had a pump with a rocket decal on it. Cool graphics but like a dummy just stripped it off. It was old and I was new. Didn't even get a picture. Have a couple Rocket cans but they are not west coast.
Are you coming to Escalon? If so post it under shows. HAGD. Ted

According to the globe book Rocket was a secondary brand for Richfield/ARCO.

There's also a listing for another Rocket company out of Dothan, AL.
The globe pictured here is from the AL company. You might want to check the globe and oil can albums on this site.

Rob, here are two "Rocket" decal that I was able to get from a "lurker friend" here on the site. Hope this helps a bit. They are quite colorful!

In 2007 @ Reed's gas Bash, Phil Miller had originals of those decals for sale. Richfield of Calif.

I think Phil still has a few, I have one that is different than Dons, The rocket sticks out the top and the Ethyl logo is out the bottom, It is still on the paper so I cant get a pic of it. On the way up to Turlock last weekend I saw an old Rocket station that still had the rocket sign out front. I was in traffic so didnt get a pic...Frank

Thanks to "all" that responded to this post!
I thought maybe Rocket was connected to Richfield but was not sure. Thanks for posting those decals Don. Nice examples!
I also bought a couple from Phil like Dick mentioned in 07 but I think they are like Frank's with the Ethyl under (below the main body.
