I also received an answer from the "gentleman", LOL. Here is his answer on the sign being a reproduction: "Dear rain3482001,
These signs came out of Canada, they were found in a old factory and were never finished up. Some have slight flaws and were rejects. There was 200 of them found."

He didn't ask me if I wanted to buy some Ocean Front property in Arizonia, so I guess his answer could have been worse, LOL.
Thinking more about this, I have to wonder if he left out a couple of zeros? The way these signs keep multiplying, I think they are magic. Or at the very least part rabbit.

The saga continues; The seller wrote me back after I imformed him I was posting his comments here on the site, here is his reply:
"Dear rain3482001,
We have not misrepresented these signs. These are heavy porcelain signs from Canada and there were only 200. I can understand you being upset if I sold these signs for 2500.00 to 3000.00. However, not everyone can afford an American sign. I am very sorry that this is all you have to do with your time and unless you want to discuss purchasing one of these signs for your collection we have no further reasons to discuss this matter any further. Thank-you for your interest and concern." Regards

As I promised him, here is his words for all to read. Each and everyone will need to decide for themselves if they believe that the sign is original. For me, I think this guy is a "scam artist" and there seems to be more and more of them coming out from under their rocks.

Im not a sign guy but have followed this with interest. One thing I have not seen addressed: If 200 of these "original" signs were found, as some are claiming, why would they command a high price? If 200 Poly globes were found, the price would plummet. Have any of the sellers stated in their ad that 200 were found? John

Got a respons from HAVNAGAS (auction 14301200532) on ebay to whom I sent information about the details on the Pegasus that clearly told me it was a fake. He responded: "Whatever, still very desireable and have passed on some good offers. Thanks for your input, GG" Also sent the link to this post...
He also has a lot of cans and stuff that seem as good as any.. br Claes

Hey guys,,, maybe this is the KEY words,, "We have not misrepresented these signs. These are heavy porcelain signs from Canada and there were only 200" He isn't saying here they are old and original from the 30's or any other time,, Sounds to me like what he is saying, is they came from Canada and there are only 200 of them,,,We've all heard that line before, no different than saying they are from the USA and there are only 200 of them.. ( I guess thats all they made.),, ha,ha,ha, ONLY IN CANADA EH ?
