Hey guys, Just found this at a sale and it had no batteries so I thought I would buy it just to see what it would do.It is 7" long and 2.5" wide yellow and silver. Put the batteries(2-AAs)in and with a switch on top of the tank tha horn blows, a backup alarm sounds and the motor starts and runs. cut on another switch(looks like the fill top)the headlights come on and the SHELL logo shine. Thought I could get that in the pic but the camera added to much light, but they do come on. Has anybody ever seen one of these or know how old it is? HAGD, mike

This is a diecast version of a West Coast Shell Oil truck trailer,it was called a "concept" truck.Typically there is 3 axles on the truck and a 2 axle trailer. The "concept" had a 2 axle truck with a 3 axle trailer.Shell put a no. of them on the road on the West Coast beginning in 1993.I drove one out of the Sacramento Ca. plant before i retired in 1997.Supposedly it was a lighter unit and able to haul more gallons.Never really panned out and was kind of like "the tail wagging the dog".Eventually they were discontinued.Your diecast version was probably made in about 1995.Did you get the trailer with it? Hope this helps.

Hey Frank, I forgot to say this truck is plastic....It does have a hitch on the back and you can tell where the paint is worn off that it did pull something. The truck didnt have any type of taillights painted or otherwise, so I am missing the trailer Either way it's kinda cool on myshelf. Thanx for your help, mike
