HEY GUYS, I WAS IN CARLISLE PA. FOR THE BIG SWAP MEET LAST WEEK, JUST ABOUT EVERY UNRESTORED GAS PUMP SOLD.WELL ANY WAY, I BOUGHT A GULF GREASE GUN PORCELAIN RACK, VERY NICE CONDITION, NOW I'M LOOKING FOR A FEW GULF GREASE GUNS.CAN ANYONE HELP ME HERE ?? ALSO WANT OTHER GULF ITEMS .THANKS IN ADVANCE, ROCK

This will have to be confirmed by a Gulf collector, but I don't believe Gulf made the grease rack or guns. It probably came from one of the makers of such items and because thay were to be sold through Gulf, Gulf put their name on it. I also doubt that Gulf would put their name on the grease guns.
I have quite a few ads and brochures showing grease racks, maybe yours matches one without the Gulf stuff on it. Post a picture or send a picture to me and I will see what I can find.

JACK, I THINK YOUR HALF RITE.THE OIL COMPANIES DID NOT MAKE THE GREASE RACKS OR GUNS BUT GULF,TEXACO ,SOHIO AND OTHERS HAD PORCELAIN LUBE RACKS.I BELIEVE SOHIO & GULF PUT THERE LOGOS ON THE GREASE GUNS ,REX.

JACK, I HAVE SEEN GREASE GUNS WITH GULF ON THEM,THEY ARE STAMPED. I JUST DONT OWN ANY,BUT WANT A FEW.GULF ALSO MADE OR USED A GREASE RACK THATS ALMOST ABOUT FOUR FT. HIGH X TWO 1/2 FT. WIDE IT IS WHITE AND BLUE ,HOLDS ABOUT SIX GUNS.
