Is it possible to repaint ripple bodies that have faded out from the sun?? I read that the paint is baked on so removing it may be difficult if not impossible. If it is possible, how much would the repaint effect the value and at the same time how much is the value affected by being faded out?

I'd say repainting an original ripple will hurt the value more than fading of the original paint.

Wanted: Gas pump globes:Sinclair & affiliates, IL companies. Ripple bodies. Anything Sinclair, Stoll, Pierce, 4 Bros.

I would say how bad is the fading? If it's real bad i would guess a repaint would make it look better but won't add any value or hurt it. Color is another issue. Red or orange or yellow i would but a green or blue i don't know if i would paint it.
If it has a little fade i would agree with Bob.

Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.
