I would say so, Dino gasoline came to the market in '59. Not many pumps would have been using globes. I also can't find any mention of a globe for Dino in the "Sinclair Collectibles" book.

THE BENJAMIN/HENDERSON SINCLAIR COLLECTIBLES BOOK ON PAGE 145 BOTTOM SHOWS THE SAME GLOBE STATES IT WAS INTRODUCED IN 1961 REPLACING THE H-C BRAND.

Wow that thing is huge. Never seen a 17' (foot) tall, 16' (foot) wide and 6' (foot) deep globe. Just think of how big the pump it set on must be.....LOL.

The patent date probably comes back to the capco body not the globe lenses. Not sure if they were trying to be deceptive or not but they got good money out of it.
