I needed 120 feet of 7' high shelving, I needed 240' of flouresecent lighting, my wife took me to an auction today!! There was a lot that consisted of 180 feet of NICE shelving and 300' of flourescent lighting. I won it at $200.00.
Isn't life good!! Especially when you have a great supportive wife!!
I had already printed a purchase order to WW Grainger for $3700.00. Looks like I've got $3500.00 to spend on "frivilous" (petro) things. Watch out EBAY, I'm coming!!!
Sincerely,

Neal

Way to go, nice score. My wife is the same way, makes collecting all the more enjoyable. Sounds to me like you owe her a shopping spree with some of that money she saved. Ooops, hope she doesn't read this.

Well, the "down" side to this story is:
when I was loading my trailer with a small amount of the lot that I could get on this first shot, I handed her the bid card so she wouldn't be bored while I was loading.
She spent $190.00 on perfume **** !!! This sale was from a Mom & Pop drug store that CVS bought out.
To my advantage there was man stuff available (shelving and lighting fixtures), to my disadvantage there was "perfume".
The next time I'll get the wife to "man the truck and trailer" while I load up.
We live, we learn!!
