My brother and I were at an oil show in 2007. A guy comes along with this story about how he has a pair of round Sinclair signs that are still mounted on the back of a delivery truck tank. He didn't have the signs or any pictures with him at the time. It sounded like it could be true or it may be yet another "Tall tail from the oil can show". Anyways, at the same show the following year, the same guy comes up to my brother with the signs. My brother buys the two signs and the guy also had these two pictures with him that he sent along home. The Opaline sign is in great shape, the Pennsylvania had a row of bullet holes in it from some marksman. Dad had it restored by the VanKannel brothers.

Back view showing the signs as they were once mounted;

I posted these pictures before;
Pennsylvania as found;

After restoration;

Opaline:

I thought the pictures of the signs mounted to the truck were pretty neat. What else is out there waiting on someone to find?
