Has anyone ever heard of Cleveland Guaranteed gas Co. or brand?
I seen what I thought is a gas pump globe that Is white, about 12-14 Inches across the top and narrows to about 4-5 Inches at the base. It looks to be a thick milk glass.Red and blue letters.
Any Imfo. will be appreciated,
Thanks, Butch

Is it sorta triangular? May be English. This isn't the greatest image on this page. There's an iconic picture of the Beatles near a Cleveland pump.

Hmm...Here's another globe. Sorry about that.
This one is near the very bottom.

Dick (and all),

A lot of servers do not allow direct access to photos when linking from other sites. Try typing http://pbase.com, hit enter, THEN paste the link shown above into your browser. Should work then -- once you're in "home territory" you can link to pics on the server.

Hi Butch,
Cleveland would be a British globe, if it has a flat face it would date from the 60's up to around 1972, take a look at this link at the Museum in Canada, there's a British pump with a Cleveland globe on it, and a further link to a friends website.
Cleveland started up in Yorkshire in the 1920's soon to be bought out by the Anglo-American oil Co (Esso)
