I haven't been on these forums for a while, but here's a heads up.
J & J Metal Recyclers in Tumwater, Washington is going through an estate sale. The business owner died a couple of months ago and the entire estate is being liquidated. There's about 15 different classic gas pumps out there. The folks running the estate sale told me they'd take $200 per pump. Buy one pump or buy more. I went to this place a couple of years ago when the business was in full operation and I remember seeing a National A-38 there near the office.
The contact information is:
Bob, phone 360-888-3297
Thought that some of you Washington and Oregon pump collectors would want to check it out.

Thanks Ken, I've been there a few times but not lately, I always enjoyed walking around the yard and checking out the junk.

I was out there today taking a quick look-see.
Spotted three Wayne 70's, several Wayne 505's, a Tokheim 39 tall, several M&S scriptops, a G&B hand operated pump, and an Erie hand operated pump. I think there was around 44 pumps there.
They have two huge metal shelf racks filled with various gas pump sheet metal skins.
Well worth checking out.

Prices vary by pump and they are willing to do a package deal.
I did not see a National A38 there, but there were some Bennetts and Gilbarcos also. Most pumps there are computer, late 1930's through 1950's vintage. I saw a few electronic 1980's pumps, but the vast majority of the pumps there are all vintage 30's-40's-50's era.

Went there this morning and found if I could get the pictures out of my camera pretty much alot of 1960's pumps. There were two that we in good shape for unrestored wayne 70 and 39 tall tokhiem that has a rusted bottom side and they were not 200.00. I was quoted 400-600 each for the two that were complete, and no MS script tops or Pumps for them. Many farm pumps, in fact about 10-15. There was plenty of panels for the 60's pumps dented and rusted. He wanted $5000 for the lot of 54 pumps, and do not know how this count came to be. When I left if was 3000 and still was no bargain.

That yard was pump rich in the early 90's. We pulled what I felt was the last good load out of there in 1998. In fact we agreed on a package deal, and when we returned with the trailer they had pulled a nice Wayne 70 and Tok. 39 out of the deal.(probably the one's Craig saw.)The Flying A pump that used to sit next to the office was an A62, not an A38, and was sold about 4 years ago.
