Hey fellas.

I'm wondering what I may have found??

I ran into an interesting item that looks as if it is an old dispensing unit of some sort for possibly oil? I took the bottle off the stand and there is a cap on the end with a small spring loaded botton that when depressed allows whatever is inside to come out.
The inside of the bottle has an old oil-like/looking residue and aroma.

This could be anything, but given its design, etc. it really got me wondering!
There are no markings other than a patent number on the stand. not even a patent date either,... no names, etc.

Thanks in advance! Much appreciated!

(sorry about the clarity, as these were taken on my cell phone)

What you have is a Kerosene container for the old kerosene cooking stoves, the kero would seep out thru a copper line to another unit with a float mounted on the stove.
