Post a pic of the back, if you have it. Not trying to throw stones, but the white background looks all for the world like it's been done with a spray can. Pretty translucent if you know what I mean. History??

I took a knife and tried to scratch off the paint, none came off.
If you look at the p in powerine its different then their known logo but this would a much later version so they could have used different artwork. Here is a powerine sign to compare the p's

I want to correct myself, looking at the older logo's I think this would be an early version of the powerine globe.

This pic is from 1918 I think...

Scott,
I'll give you $25 for it but you have to ship and insure it.

Scott,
Cool pic! However, I think the photo has to be more recent than 1918 'cause the cars in the pic are of the mid 20s (car on the right) to late 20s to early 30s (car on the left).

I'd think it would be pretty old (30s?) saying Motor Fuel like it does...

Very cool. Where did you find it?

A friend found it at a picker who has some pumps for sale. He emailed me this morning and I bought it before noon. It not the most beatiful globe by a long shot but it cool to me.

Real nice find Scott!
Spend the money to put it in a nice original red capco. No repro.
Yea...good luck completing that onee...but if anyone can...it's you.
I'll give $35 AND shipping! (or can you deliver it to Iowa Gas for free?)

Nope, but just heard about a single 15" POWERINE lens that was bought in Grand Junction. No picture, yet.
