One of our members parents live in the middle of the fire zone. They don't know if they have a house to return to, as they were evacuated.
Ray "Hotcider" was evacuated from his office also today.
Hoping for the Best guys.

I hope everything works for the best for Ray and anyone else effected. Sure seems like a high price to have pay for the nice weather and sunshine, i think I'll stick with my hot humid summers and teens/single digit winters.

Over 8600 acres burnt , 75+ house destroyed. Elev. ranges from 300ft near the city to 3,300 ft on the ridge line.

That was one heck of a fire. My parents house and some friends houses in the area were spared.It is now about 50 % contained. Feel sorry for all those who were less fortunate. Thanks for the post Dick and all that responded.
