Last year at the Iola car show I had a guy stop in and tell me that he had a few cans in the attic of his milkhouse that I could have if i was willing to crawl up there and dig them out. Being right on top of things as always it took me until last week to call him back. So on Thursday I jumped in the van and drove the the 2 hours to the farm. We went out to the milkhouse and i peeked up in the crawl space and could only see a couple of cans. I sent my much smaller and more adgile friend up in the attic to hand them down. After alot of digging and about an hour of him being in the crawl space this is the result....

Most arent the prettiest butthere are quite a few decent cans out of the lot. All have the lids removed and a hole in the lip of the can as they were used to collect sap for maple syrup;I Grabbed as many as i could fit in the van and ended up only leaving about a dozen really bad cans. In total i brought home 260 5 quarts most being mobil.
Either way it was a fun trip and well worth it.

NEAT STUFF. REMINDS ME OF WHEN THIS KID WAS WORKING IN AN OLD DODGE DEALERSHIP A FEW YEARS AGO FOUND 80+ QUART CANS (EMPTY) IN THE ATTIC OF THE BUILDING AND JUST GAVE THEM TO ME.
