Does anyone have any info on the Mobil Pegasus Flying Red Horse that was used in the fifties for new service station grand openings? I would like to post a picture, but not sure how. Maybe someone can post it for me.

Here is rcraigbug's picture.

..a RARE MOBIL Pegasus KIDDIE RIDE
Jeff Pederson had 2 that were sold to Roy Reed after Jeff's death. Roy sold 1 at his auction by Aummans, he still has the other.

I was told that each district had 1, and were used at GRAND OPENINGS of new stations.

I believe there were also pegasus' like this, but they were not rides, you could just sit on it. There is one here in St. Louis, please don't ask who ownes it, the owner wishes to be anonymous. They were put out front of some stations. Has anyone else seen one?

Does anyone have any old photo's of these horses? or know any specifics about how they were used? I would like to find out the history of these horses, not who owns them.
Thanks,
Rich
