hey guys,
i need to pick a few brains. i found the most incredible bowser 521-k. i had never seen one before....this thing is SUPER NICE!!! VERY straight, and COMPLETE!!! with the acception on a hose and handle. i dont know much about it other than it seems to be a rare bird. it was a ticket-printing pump and it shows to made from 1949-1951 according to jacks book on page 117.
is there any interest in a pump like this? is this collectible, or is it something i just put a different meeter and set of faces from a 585 and call it done? and is it worth anything the way it is? will i just be lowering the value of it if i change it around to something more appealing? just curious, thanks for the help guys,
mikey

Hey Mikey I would leave it the way it is. It would look cool the original way.

I'd leave it like it is just because you never see that sort of thing...

Wish I had it... I guess I'm craving another pump

You could always find another 585, but will you ever find another 521? Rare, not too desirable, but definately something different. Keep it the way it is.
