i think you guys might be on to something there. Its easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission.

Careful, I blew a hole in the ceiling and had a 14 foot long pit dug - I was quoted 1500 so I thought what the heck - they dug it, hit the water table-flooded the lower level- had to install drain tiles and a sump and it truly was a money pit as the final cost was a little over 8000 -Now my wife says NO more house modifications!!!
