In the second set of photos theres a picture of a sinclair sign w/ wood frame w/ dino...I havent seen this one before ...is it a tin sign or porcelain? Any idea who owns it or what they generally sell for? (it states Lubricant for Long Life). Thanks all!

That is an original porcelain sign about 5 feet long. I believe it's from Belgium?
They generally sell for 1,000-2,000 or more for a mint one...Don't see them very often!!!
I believe Bustermonty had that sign! I have his number if you need it...

Thank you for the info on the sinclair sign...I've never seen one before and its a great looking sign for sure. I'll shoot over a pm for his contact information. Thanks for helping me out smile My buddy and I attended Dixie in the spring (1st big gas n oil show I've been to and I'm hooked!).

There are two versions of the Sinclair sign, both single sided porcelain. I would like to add one to my collection. If I recall, one sold at auction once for about $3500, which was a very strong price in my opinion. The one version is posted, the other version says "Lubricants" instead of "Lubricant". (Has an "S" on the end). They do not show up very often, like Tom said, I also think they are from Belgium. Below is a link to a picture of the two different versions. I think $2K for a mint one is a little low, unless I am the one buying it.
