Back in early 2007, I posted this Phillips cottage located only a few miles from home. I noticed that someone has recently repainted the building - it looks a LOT better... Here it is today: This is the only Phillips cottage left in Decatur. I'm hoping to find some original picture(s) while at the library this week.

Shot with KODAK Z712 IS ZOOM DIGITAL CAMERA at 2009-07-14 Shot with KODAK Z712 IS ZOOM DIGITAL CAMERA at 2009-07-14 This is another old Cavalier located in Lansing, MI. It was most likely later a Best & was a Total before it closed by the colors. This station is built into a side of a hill and has a basement.

Here's a picture of an old station I took in northern Missouri on a recent road trip. If you look close you can see a porcelain Mobil sign that was welded to the back of an old school bus. I would have got a better picture but a large hungry dog was sizing up me up for his lunch that afternoon.

YUCK! LOL! You should google POP'S in Oklahoma. 150 kinds of pop and really cool gas station. Oh, it also has a 66 foot tall LED pop bottle out front. Super cool at night.

This old station has been spruced up with a more modern touch, and has now been annexed into someone's front yard. It figures, someone is lucky enough to have an old (probably 20s) station in their front yard, and they don'e even have a pump or signs out front! Very nice little building.

This building is on what I think was a main road to Cheney Washington. I have always wondered if it was an old station? Any ideas I think I found my missing letters to spell out SERVIVE IS OUR BUSINESS in Pomeroy Washington. Visited with Mr.Webb for a few Then off to Lewiston Idaho to one of my favorite old stations I really like old concrete. Concrete and cast iron two of my favotites

The Wigwam!! thats cool! are the cars for the kids or grandpa and grandma to sleep in? It reminds me of a week we spent in Whitehall Montana one NIGHT at the Chief Motel. Has any one ever started a post of the worst road trip they have had? I would love to hear the stories.
