Yes, that's me in the number 9 slot. Thanks Mick for helping organize and posting this picture. Got back this morning and what can I say but another incredible year. I think the highlight of my show was seeing and holding the $49,000 set of Gilmore lenses, and drinking of course. See everyone next year.

Scott--That is just toooooo funny!! I haven't heard about how the broken globe thing happened yet, or how it became attached to a certain old gasser but it has to be a good story! Probably not funny since there was obviously a broken globe involved but, to keep lasting this long--it must be a good story?---KEVIN

C'mon Jarvis--Tell the broken globe story for the newcomers here on Old Gas. Its one of my greatest fears when handling those expensive globes! I actually witnessed a dumb accident with (luckily) a repop globe at an auction sale last week! The buyer of a restored visible set about moving the pump and the globe fell off the top and hit him in the head before breaking on the cement! ALWAYS remove the globe before moving the pump! RIGHT!!

Great show and I enjoyed meeting some of you there. There were many more oldgassers at the show that are not pictured in the photo so we had a big group there. Some that come to mind include Ed Steagall, racecop, booboom, Esse's Garage, superamerica man, gasoline alley and myself and probably many others that I did not meet or recognize.

Had a good time at the show. Made a stop on the way to buy some nice stuff and had some more stuff delivered to the show. A lot of venders and a lot of nice stuff for sale. Some of the prices were as expected, some were way high in my opinion, like all years. Missed the auction, there was a lot of nice stuff that sold. There was one can I wanted, a friend bid on it for us but didn't win it. Some more pictures, some may be repeats. A pair of "Iowa Gas Man of the Year" past winners; Some of the Minnisota crew Show pictures
