Over 600.00 with six days left. Put it on my watch list hoping I could snag it but already well beyond where I wanted it at. Super nice Hurst item if you're in to that stuff.

Nice Clock but I guess he is still not happy with the current price $747.00. He added this not e to the auction today.

On Aug-12-09 at 07:29:50 PDT, seller added the following information:

I'm afraid I should have used the reserve price with this sign. I don't mean to disrespect any bidders but bids just are not high enough. Auction could end Saturday am.

8/12/am bid@$745.00

Based on others I've seen sell I'd be surprised if it goes for less than $1500, should go for over 2k if things were better.

i don't recall ever seeing one of these, however its plastic & aluminum....i would much rather own a early neon delership clock like cadillac or a gas & oil clock...i also think its way over priced & personnally would not pay more than $250 for this piece of plastic, if its in fact legitimate

The fact that it's plastic & aluminum is what appeals to some.
I am one of those some..
Porcelain, glass and metal are for the most part, much more dureable.Plastic yellows, melts & cracks,if not stored/maintained properly and that is their allure.
Being from the musclecar era, plus being mint in the original box is what you are paying for here, and rightly so.

This is the fourth one of these clocks I have seen new old stock. I have yet to see an original turn up with wear or damage.

sell me something that is duarable well built, quality & will last many years to come , not something that is built with cheap materials, yellows or melts in the sun, cracks in the cold, uses cheap clock motors etc,etc.....buy Michael Brunners book of advertising clocks from approx 12 years ago & you will see many of mine there.I have been collecting neons & double bubbles for over 20 years now & have 100's...In my opinion these cheap plastic clocks will not not appreciate in value much, however there is a market for some....
