I got this rear section of an old delivery tank truck this past week. Got it home and hung it up on the wall. Then I mounted a spare set of Sinclair plates to the doors and put a couple Opaline cans inside. Something different. It has a hand operated dial counter inside, mounted on the one door. It is set up in increments of 5 from 0 to 95.

Hanging on the wall.

With the porcelain plates installed. Be very careful if you use a good set of plates because they can get bumped around when you are putting them on.

Inside, the counter is on the right door.

That's a neat idea! is there a name just above the doors? The counter looks very similar too!
I need to make some hands for mine. Thanks for sharing! tt

One of these was stolen off the dock of a bulk plant in Wabeno WI a couple years ago, Standard Oil red. Was this one painted when you got it Wes?

I can see no evidence of it ever being painted red. I got it from a long time Sinclair collector, it was in his collection a long time, at least 6 years as that is when I first saw it.
