I'm gonna be so close to you, Coshocton, OH., but at the Vintage Thunderbird Internation Convention. Concours judging is the Saturday of your auction, which is too bad cuz I see one or two Bennett 757's with my name on it. Heading back to Michigan on Sunday... with there be any left overs?
Cheers... Brian

Sorry, I don't look for any left overs. I live just 4 miles east of Coshocton. What a small world it is. Unfortunately, I am getting a lot of calls at the office from scrap dealers. Kinda scary

Terry...you can hold the Ctrl key down and use the + and - keys...that will blow up the whole web page and you can scroll around see the little photos a lot better...also - you might want to post some of the better photos on here, to show the people most likely to bid on the pumps as collector's items the better stuff in the auction...looks like there's a LOT of decent parts - I think a lot of the good doors and pumps (M&S 70's) will go home with restorers...
...good luck...it's a shame the auction isn't a couple of days before the Columbus show...from the looks of it on the map, you're not that far away from Columbus...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

The web site is a new one we just launched, the designer is supposed to have the picture part fixed by the first of the week so you can blow ALL of the pics up like you can on the first couple of rows. Glad to hear some old gassers are coming. Make yourselves known to me when you get there, I am looking forward to meeting you in person

Hey Terry,
How long would we have before we have to have items picked up? We were thinking about coming, but it is labor day weekend and already have plans, so I might fly out for the day.

Hardly a complete pump in the bunch. I agree with Ryan, it would be great for someone who is just starting out, but how is he to know which doors fit the pump he just bought? And who is to say the doors won't be sold as a lot. And as someone said, the price of steel right now, might be more than what the parts are worth to us.
I don't think there is anyway you can break even at this auction, unless you live down the road.

I spoke with the owner a couple weeks ago and he was not opposed to grouping a pump with the matching doors and selling as one unit. I asked about the possibility of finding any scrip tops or MS70 ad glass tops, he said the scrips were long gone. Seemed like a real nice guy and I enjoyed talking with him. Brady

We will be setting up our tent Friday and loading it with many small items, (pump plates, signs, many banners, nozzles, ad glasses, cans and misc. owner is still digging out and finding things he didn't know he had. Looks like a full day auction. Looking forward to meeting some old gas guys in person. If we can keep the scrap yo y o's at bay it should be a fun auction. The area this auction is being held at is home for people that don't have a full set of teeth if you catch my drift.lol

Just talked to the seller and he is still rowing up pumps. He said the field is getting full. The neighbor called him last nite and wanted to know what he planted there to grow gas pumps. lol

Just returned to the office, We have the tent loaded with a lot of smalls. The seller found about 50 banners still in the paper he forgot he had. He got the doors with the pumps and we have four long rows of pumps. Also found a box of nos bezels. What a great looking auction. Just hope it goes well. See you there. Terry
