I've only been working on my garage for about a month now, what do you think? any suggestions are certainly welcome.

SO FAR SO GOOD. BUT YOU NEED MORE SIGNS...VERT & HORIZ STRIP SIGNS OVER THE DOORS AND ON THE ENDS. LIKE THAT DOOR IN THE MIDDLE.

If you do, want your garage to look more like an "old gas station"? Then I agree with Doc, some "lube signs" or such, over the "roll ups" and a vert. tire and/or battery sign would give it more of that "atmosphere" and feeling. Also a "fantasy" sign on the "man door" with your name and script saying that it is your "station" would add to the "mood". It does look good, thanks for sharing. We all like photos!

Thanks for the suggestions, I will keep looking for some signs.

I like the front door also, I have a "SHELL DEALER" waterbased decal on the glass. Maybe I could put my name above it.

My grandparents had a SHELL Station back in the 60's and 70's, lots of Great memories of that place. Guess thats why I'm interested in the SHELL brand.

Looks awesome but that Valvoline just doesn't fit. Send it my way and I'll be your bestest friend.

looks good.., Nice garage. I would buy another one of those shell signs you have over the door and put them on the sides just above the bay doors, then get one of these puppies (below) to hang on the gable end. That would really look cool along with an oil rack at the door filled with shell cans.

Heh 70Mach, yeh that sign would look good, but I have a feeling its beyond my price limit.

I'm a mustang fan also , have had 4 different ones over the years, just sold a 66 Coupe that I spent 2years restoring.

THanks for the reply

I thought the pump I have is more in tune with a 60's/70's SHELL Station.
My Grandparents had pumps very similar to the one I have. They ran the station in the mid 60's to the late 70's.

Heres an updated picture with the letters over the doors. I made them myself and painted them SHELL Orange.

Still looking for some signs to put on each side of the garage doors and maybe a SHELL hanging sign on end wall.

Darrell
