I'm having trouble finding a reasonable company to ship a couple of Standard Oil signs with??? These signs are too long for Fed-Ex and UPS, so where do I go?? Any suggestions out there?? Thanks ---KEVIN

Maybe trucking, like Yellow Freight, although I'm not too sure about the reasonable part.

Try Greyhound or Forward Air.

Try uship.com . They are competing for your business and if the time frame is not urgent make sure you state that in your ad, alot of those guys may bid dirt cheap before they run empty. Check the site out, Matt

Kevin: I shipped that exact sign using Fed Ex Freight a couple of years ago. Went from Montana to Oklahoma.

I thought D B said one time that he or someone used a moving co. like Mayflower or North American or someone like that?

North American was $268 but I have the problem solved. The sign buyer has a contract with a shipping company and they get a 47% discount because of their volume! Hes going to have it picked up here for around $90 total!!!
This freight thing is tricky--gonna have to study up on it some more. Thanks for the help guys and I'm still gonna talk with some of the companies you listed. Thanks a lot---KEVIN
