I have a chance to buy a Phillips 66 double sided sign dated 1967, It has about 8 - 10 dings about 1/4 inch each on the one side and the other side they show up larger, it is flat, has good gloss and loks pretty good -
It is about 42" tall
The question is - Is it worth the $350.00 he is asking?

Jerry--I've seen a lot of these on Ebay and the condition on this one, looks awfully good from the picture you sent! Ebay prices would indicate that this is about an average price for this sign in good condition!
The reason I know, is that I have the same sign in a hanging bracket but mine is of fairly poor condition and I was watching for a really good one to put into that bracket! I still don't have one and I never did see any really good ones selling that low, so I would say its a decent buy.
There are other guys out there that have been to all the shows recently, and they might have a different opinion. Wait and see if anyone else checks in with some different information! Hope this helps!--KEVIN

Pay the price, it is very fair and I don't think you would find another in that condition for that price

IF YOU GOT IT FOR 300.00 THAT WOULD BE A GOOD DEAL, FLASH 3 ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR BILLS IN FRONT OF HIM AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS!!! WORTH A TRY.....

I BOUGHT ONE 7 YEARS AGO AT CARLISLE IN THE SAME COND FOR $300 AND THAT WAS DOWN FROM $330. IN OTHER WORDS.....

BTW...FORGOT TO MENTION MINE IS 72" TALL, SO THE SMALLER LATER VERSION FROM '67 IS MORE THAN LIKELY WORTH MORE!

...at the least, that's a fair price, buy it if you like it...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...
