Finally decided to start another post for more photos. Will do the same when I reach 100 on this one too. The next batch of pictures are a mix of stuff I've seen.
This Sinclair Sign and pole sat at an old service station just a few miles from my house when I lived in Lansing. It was painted over and had the name of some carburator shop on it. I had just started noticing gas and oil stuff when one day the pole was gone. I found out about a year later that this is what was under all of that paint. Sorry I never checked on it myself but I really didn't know much about this stuff back then.
WEDNESDAY. I'LL TRY TO POST MORE GAS PICS AND FEWER COKE PICS TODAY. HANG IN THERE.
SAW THIS OLD STATION WHILE ON VACATION I REMEMBER THE DAY BECAUSE IT WAS 9-11-01. FELT QUILTY BEING ON VACATION THAT DAY BUT HAD IT PLANNED FOR A LONG TIME SO WE TRIED TO MAKE THE BEST OF IT.
THIS PONTIAC SIGN IS STILL ON A BUILDING IN CHELSEA MICHIGAN. THEY LIGHT IT UP AT NIGHT. THE FIRST TIME I SAW IT I ALMOST CRASHED MY CAR LOOKING BACK AT IT. I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT I WAS SEEING. TOO COOL!!
THIS OLD SINCLAIR STATION IS NOT TO FAR FROM MY HOUSE. I HAVEN'T DRIVEN BYE IN A LONG TIME. THE COKE BUTTONS ARE ORIGINAL TO THE STORE AND ARE NOT FOR SALE. NEITHER IS THE SINCLAIR SIGN. THE SIGN LOOKS LIKE IT IS READY TO FALL ANY DAY IN THIS PICTURE.
