Have a chance to buy this meter that is still on the wall of old gas station, stopped and asked and the owner of station did not know much about it but offered it for $300 I looked in Jacks book and it seems to be on page 57 #3 does anyone know if I can replace missing top and bottom chrome. Sorry about the pic but they were taken with my phone,Thanks for any help

I believe the parts you need are available, I would buy it for that. You can offer lower, what can it hurt.

Thanks for the input Phil,
I have been looking for a meter for A long time and could not believe it when I saw this one on the building that was now a car lot.I think I will go back and buy it hope it worth the effort.

ron scobie has the parts......sold one at Iowa a couple of years ago for more than that....it was missing the same parts.

Picked up meter and was shocked how heavy it was. Hope to get missing face plates and bring it back to life.

I think you got a deal at $300! We have 7 air meters in our collection,, gotta have more. grin You can't even get a more common ECO 97 or 98 for $300 Ric

Nice meter and at the price. Get the chrome from Scobie and don't repaint it. It is to nice of an original to restore in my opinion.

Good deal there. I have a chance to buy a Air Scale meter for $125-$150 in working condition & good condition. Guess I better get it soon!!!

Yes it does have the light socket, but does not seem to ever been wired up.
