We have a white eagle statue that we thought was original. it is very heavy. there is no base. the inside is painted aluminum. One very strong man can carry it. Is this a repro? If so, does it have any value? Who would go to the trouble to make these? thanks LuLu

If it is aluminum it is a reproduction. Originals were made of cast iron or concrete. I have two of the repros that I purchased about 12 years ago. I believe they were made in Mexico and retailed in the $200 to $300 range at that time.
