Friday. Been a long week again. Whole family is sick. Seems like half of Michigan has a cold.

MONDAY AGAIN. FEELS LIKE GROUNDHOG DAY (THE MOVIE)
If you are into gas pumps in Michigan then you must know Larry Robertson. He goes to all of the shows in the area and has been selling gas/oil stuff for a long time. He used to work for the Bennett company many years ago and has had at one time over 300 un-restored gas pumps in his graveyard. I have only been to his house once to visit and that is a big shame on me because he is a great guy to deal with and to talk to. The following pictures were taken quite a while ago. I saw Larry at Auburn last month and we always joke around about having me do a paint job for him. He likes my work but we have just never gotten together to do one. Probably another shame on me.

Some times you can't tell colors from a photo because they change a little in the film processing or a flash will wash the colors but the green on the pump above was INCREDIBLE!! I've done a few Polly pumps but I am still trying to come up with that exact color. Looked even better in person!!

That air service station is wild! Any idea of the age or time frame of that bad boy? All that metal and decoration just for some air. Boy they don't put that kind of attention to things like that anymore.

I really don't know too much about that air tower. It was delivered to Michigan gas show by Jerry Keller. It drew a huge crowd when he unloaded. Big Cheese was there taking pictures and I'll bet he could answer some questions about it.

Well it it is Friday again. I guess I'll wrap up the pictures today. It has been a fun hobby. I don't get around as much as I used to so I don't have a lot of current pics. I do have some to post to other topics but I figured I'd finish here first.
