JJ looks great, just not sure how you get any work done though. I know I would spend all my time looking at the globes and forget about everything else. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, outstanding job John. I think you could park a car on that shelf. But what about that lonely oval Zephyr globe? Now you need to build another shelf. LOL

Thanks for posting the process. Inspiration for the people of Oldgasland.

GREAT job, John!! Don't suppose you'd be driving thru Hillsboro, Ohio any time soon? If so, I'll provide the beer and hold the ladder for you if you want to build another one just like it.

Wow! That is a really neat display shelf! Is the race on to build a better globe shelf? ok who is going to top this one? Who's thinking of "diamond cut titanium" and "carbon fibre support arms" .......... Heck I can't seem to get my simple things done..... Thanks for sharing! Take care! tt

I think that you should get your own show on TLC or HGTV... "Globe Shelf Makeovers"... or something like that.

Great job!

Thanks guys for the comments! It took some time to think of how to get it up there with the all thread and chrome tubes and get holes transfered.

Jason,
No globes were harmed in the making of the shelf... they weren't even in the same room. I am getting smarter!

Kim,
I have the globes all over the place. Just glad to get the one out of the bathroom. LOL
