At first I was going to say that you can't get a big price unless you ask for it but this is just WRONG! He identifies it as one of the first Coke signs ever made and then lists the date of manufacture as the 50's to 60's. Maybe its someones idea of a joke???

What a piece of junk. I would not buy that for 50 cents to hang outside. Then he says "A little rust" I would hate to see what a lot of rust is then laugh laugh

But C'MON guys, it's only gonna be worth more in the future, LOL!!! At least that's what it says....lol!
I think I could probably go dig in the dump and find one in similar shape. Some listings are always good for a laugh... Like the $5000 Mobil Upperlube 4 oz. can a while back. I don't think it sold either, lol.

I was sent a picture of this pump awhile back and the guy wanted a resonable offer.

I was thinking $50.00 to $150.00 for a farm pump still on the farm. I decided I wasnt interested and didnt make an offer. I recieved a email a month later saying.$3000.00 FIRM. I tried to explain that he may be off on his value while letting him know I bought a whole gas station for $2500.00. His reply was $3000.00 firm. Could it be the same person!!

You folks need to give this poor schmuck a break!! I'm sure he just read on the internet how the DEA's stepped up operations along the border have been highly successful.....which means of course that the price of COKE on the streets will be skyrocketing. You really can't blame him for trying to make a buck!!!

Your not buying the sign, your donating [10% of the money] to CHARITY !

PEPSI had to barrow money from Coca Cola when MJ's hair caught on fire during a commercial filming, so MJ could buy a wig to replace missing hair. LOL

This is like the recent POS 1970's bennett Sinclair pump signs that were offered on ebay for $635.00. I blame shows like Antique Roadshow it seems like now if you find ANY sign people think its worth thousands of dollars.

An Educational ad on Ebay could work well. I placed a ad selling service on a gate operator also letting people know if they bought it(the operator) off the web the factory will not offer any warranty. My hope is that people will see the operator ad then notice my warranty service for $300.00 per year and the warning about the factory policy, Then buy it localy. It's cheap and makes people aware of the warranty. Who knows maybe I will sell some warranty work. A Operator is the device that automatically opens and closes a gate.
