All I can tell you is the art was created using the reference from page 228 of the 'Guide to Gas Pump Restoration' book. My customer wanted the color to be more of the Orange that Gulf used - so that is what I did for him.

In the book, the color is kind of a light gold color - it doesn't look at all like it is supposed to be Silver.

The book has this image listed as: "Gulf Crest, 11.5" x 17.5", 1957 - 1962, Unconfirmed"

The only place where you Don't see the silver is on the "Unconfirmed Sighting". all actual pictures of that decal show silver
