Shouldnt the railroad crossing sign be by your caboose?
You dont trust it over on this side of the mountains do you?

Rick - this way I can keep my eyes on it - over there it would be in somebody else'e yard - I also have a semaphore for the caboose but it hid away also.

As for the crossing sign - it does light up and the bell does ring but only when I hit the switch.

That would be SOOO COOL to have that RR sign flash when the garage door goes up and down along with one of those warning bells!

We were out there in September to watch Ichiro hit a two run homer in the bottom of the 9th to beat the Yankees. I wanted to bring my wife down to meet your wife to show her that gas pumps look great upstairs and how to decorate a house with oil and gas. Next time out we will stop by.

MY HELPERS WERE A COUPLE OF MILK CRATES! AND THEY ARE MOUNTED IN A MANNER THAT THE BACK OF THE SIGN IS NOT FLAT (TOUCHING) AGAINST THE SHED.
I AM NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THE MOUNTING OF A HEAVY D/S PORC SUNOCO DIAMOND SIGN THAT IS 4X6' OVER A DIFFERENT SHEDS DOORS. GONNA NEED A LADDER FOR THAT ONE!
